The AEP (Amicale des Etudiants en Pharmacie du Mali) and health sector are excited to host the 9th IPSF AfRO Pharmaceutical Symposium. I must give our international delegates assurance that the symposium is led by a committed team whose great concern is to give you the best experience of Mali and symposia that will be very educational and informative.
We believe that the current challenges of our continent need all of us to work together as Pharmacists and health professionals in general. The AEP (Amicale des Etudiants en Pharmacie du Mali) has won the bid to host the biggest gathering of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences students, recent graduates, and professionals; this includes health scientists in general.
The reception committee has followed up on many trends that could change our health practices for good. This symposium was designed to equip and empower the young generation of future leaders in the health fraternity to be flexible and adapt to changes that are anticipated to occur in our health systems. Furthermore, the symposium seeks to give a balanced view of both threats and opportunities of the latter mentioned changes. The theme of the symposium is
Uniting through the 2030 agenda to achieve Universal Health Coverage in Africa : Challenges and perspectives.
The African Pharmaceutical Symposium in Bamako, Mali is divided into 3 parts:
The Symposium will commence with Leaders in training, followed by the main Symposium and the post-symposium tour.
Leaders-In-Training (LIT): Participants will get to participate in leadership training and gain communication skills, strategic planning skills, etc.. with the purpose of raising a new breed of African leaders.
The leaders in the training session will have the best IPSF approved trainers to ensure that those attending this session will come out of it transformed ready to lead in whatever area possible. We are very passionate about grooming leaders who will take over our health systems to a different dimension.
Main Symposium: This is the main part of the Symposium. Here, delegates will participate in plenary sessions, listen to experienced speakers from all across the globe, partake in clinical skill events, compound events, and public health outreaches. The Regional Assembly will also be held during this part of the symposium.

Our international delegates love Mali, mainly because of its rich history, its diversity, and its cultures. This we will ensure by taking it to another level! We will give our delegates the best experience in Mali.
We encourage our delegates to register in time, necessarily because our space is limited. Let’s meet in Bamako
